A large part of my Community Service Initiative is inspiring people to use their talents and passions to make a difference. To lead by example, I started Portraits For A Purpose.

As a photographer, I wanted to use my profession for good. Portraits For A Purpose offers free-of-charge senior photos for school students who would otherwise not be able to get their photos done, and therefore miss a large part of capturing this monumental achievement in their life. To do this, I have put together a team of professional photographers and worked with school administration to find these students. This fall, over 200 students in my community will be eligible for photos. Because of this project, these students will be able to have photos for the yearbook, graduation cards, social media and to commemorate this special time in their life.
